Words of Wisdom
The Shadow Series - A 6-Part Journey | Starts 15 June
Every 2nd Sunday until 24 August @Mana Temple Yoga Studio | Facilitated by Marye O’Brien
You are invited to gather in a sacred space of sisterhood, where your heart is honoured, your truth is welcome, and your spirit is nourished. This is a soul-deep journey home to yourself—through ritual, reflection, guided meditation, and powerful feminine connection. This circle is for any woman ready to soften, remember, and rise.
Wellbeing in Ayurveda begins with small, consistent acts of self-care each day. Beginning the morning with a ritual is so important because it sets the tone for the rest of the day and keeps the body in balance.
Rumi's poem "The Chickpea and the Cook" offers profound wisdom on personal growth through its rich allegorical narrative. In this poem, Rumi uses the interaction between a chickpea and a cook to explore themes of transformation, self-discovery, and the interplay between the self and external influences.
Ayurveda believes that our wellbeing is deeply connected to the cycles of nature. Following a routine that aligns with the natural progression of the day is considered crucial for maintaining health, and consistency is key here. Establishing a routine helps regulate bodily functions and promotes a sense of balance and stability.
When we honour all that has come before, both shadow and light, our lived experiences become our guides and teachers. They hold the wisdom of our enlightened self.
To live a conscious life, is the recovery of you. The path a Spiritual Teacher points you towards, is the one leading you back to you.
