Our stories.

We each have profound and meaningful stories to share.

Our life experiences are the unique patterns of our existence, woven with a richness and texture that is unlike anyone else’s. We are the heroes and heroines of our own journeys through time and space on this magical planet we call home. We are like a garden that continuously blooms with new colors, shapes, and scents, each with its own unique frequency.

In the realms of personal growth and various spiritual traditions, there is often a belief that these stories of development should be discarded. We frequently hear phrases like: “It is time to rewrite your story.”

While I understand the relevance of this perspective and have even suggested it to clients and practiced it myself, it is not always as straightforward as it seems. After my stillbirth experience, for many years all I identified as was a as grieving mother, that was my story, with time, when my pain transcended into something else, something more, something that had meaning, I was much more than this, so I changed my language, rewrote my story from a place of divine maturity.

Some stories reveal what is not working or serving our highest good. There are repetitive storylines that reinforce false beliefs in our hearts, minds, and bodies, potentially leading to disease and emotional suffering. These are unconscious, habitual stories that have not been explored for the jewels and radiance they hold beneath the surface.

In many Eastern spiritual traditions, there is a strong emphasis on disciplining the mind, controlling thoughts, and purifying ‘egoic’ storylines. For many, this can create a division within oneself, continuing an energetic fragmentation of wholeness. This is especially true without a deep, nuanced realisation of compassion and understanding the purpose that every aspect of our being has or has had in shaping who we are and who we are becoming.

The feminine traditions, which are relational in nature and inclusive of an alchemical process, invite all aspects of body, mind, emotion, and soul to the table with purpose and sacredness. Are there shadow aspects or misaligned ways in which the feminine may invite over-indulgence or identification with what doesn’t serve? Certainly.

However, we can harmonise these approaches, blending the masculine and feminine. Sacredness then meets higher conscious awareness, leading to authentic living and relational intimacy where it matters most—with our own being, first and foremost. A unification and recognition that both paths serve and mature us, forming a middle path of our truth, our wholeness.

When we honour all that has come before, both shadow and light, our lived experiences become our guides and teachers. They hold the wisdom of our enlightened self. In hindsight, we see that breadcrumbs and divine accompaniment have always been leading us forward.

Stories have always held great power in supporting others. They serve as reminders and reflections that we are not so different from one another and that all we have lived through matters. We are each beautiful, magnificent, and seen.

Living a life of sacredness encourages us to walk in the light towards wholeness, fostering deep wellness on all levels of our being and allowing us to celebrate all that we are.

With love and light
