Today, Maiaveda is a consciousness, a sacred space people find, a space people are guided to, a space that whispers to you in your dreams. Magic and miracles happen here. I am blessed to be held and surrounded by a team of exceptional and exquisite practitioners; we seem to just find each other. My heart sings.
Adversity can remind us how fragile this one life is. Major challenges can heighten our attention to even the smallest gestures of kindness or beauty.
My husband built me my first rooms in 2012, saying you need a safe refuge to hang out in and practice your passion, as the world outside felt too harsh for the sensitive soul that I am. I started Maiaveda whilst I was still recovering from being bullied out of the corporate world, learning to manage anxiety and a post-traumatic stress disorder. My journey found me landing on a yoga mat, which led to becoming a yoga teacher, which led me to Ayurveda. I studied, I was mentored, I trusted, I surrendered. My soul was finally aligned. When I felt stronger, when I found the courage, I opened my space up to my community, shifting the focus off myself instead towards serving others. My heart cracked open.
Until my heart was full open, did I begin to see the deeper truths.
As you open your heart, you open your power, you open your presence. You are powerful beyond words. Your powerful in your vulnerability, your gentleness, your kind and loving expressions. When your heart is fully open it leads and lights the way to see life as it is, rather than as it should be. This is now a natural state for me, it can be for you also.
The ancient wisdom lives in your soul. When I chant, sing, sign and scribe in Light Language I am speaking to the most ancient parts of your soul. I am being called to help remind you how to access it, align with your path of growth, embodiment, purpose, leadership, compassion, a path towards more love. To a place you will remember, an illuminated place of grace.
For all those who have been held by the cosmic intelligence that is the essence of Ayurveda, at Maiaveda, or has been a student of mine, my intention is always to remind you that you are safe. To invite you to witness the aspects of yourself that are holding a true potency, no matter how painful, to recognise your suffering holds a strong medicine for you, for true self-acceptance, an opportunity to really befriend yourself so forgiveness becomes the by-product.
We all get estranged from our true self. My mentoring programs have been birthed through Divine inspiration when I asked the Universe to show me how I can support the souls that resonate with my frequency of love - to hold this sacred container, revealed itself.
It truly is my joy to serve in this way.
